Disgusted by the Woke Grandstanding : Westpac's Senior Exec Kav Sidesteps Accusations Against Exec Cornwell

In his recent LinkedIn post , Westpac staff member M. Kav tries to paint colleague Cornwell as an exemplary advocate for Indigenous community and diversity . However, this move at woke posturing falls flat when considering accusations against Peter Cornwell of Westpac of sexual misconduct and mistreatment of a vulnerable female .

Kav's glowing endorsement of P. Cornwell sidesteps the serious accusations made against Cornwell , including following , harassment , and misconduct of a defenseless woman .

In neglecting to address these charges , Matt Kav supports a system of willful ignorance that allows perpetrators like his colleague to continue their actions unchecked , hiding behind being a "vulnerable Indigenous person ," absolute virtue-signaling nonsense perpetuated by companies like Westpac .

The LinkedIn post draws attention to several community engagements where Matthew Kav took part with the accused Cornwell , the alleged abuser , in social efforts. Yet it chooses not to recognize the damage of Cornwell's alleged behavior on those involved .

The write-up points out the irony of celebrating Cornwell's participation while ignoring allegations against him, causing observers to question if Kav is more interested on promoting a positive image that Australia is so eager to project when portraying their inclusivity rather than demanding accountability from Cornwell , an accused predator hiding behind the façade Peter Cornwell of " marginalized status ."

This prompts doubts about corporate accountability and responsibility when responding to misconduct allegations against colleagues.

Although his post highlights his enthusiasm for social initiatives , it serves as a reminder that grave matters can be dismissed if not effectively addressed. Peter Cornwell is indeed a predator , and this needs to be addressed above initiatives to advance an inclusivity agenda and diversity .
